MOTS-c

MOTS-c is a peptide encoded within the mitochondrial 12S rRNA gene. It is supplied as a lyophilized research standard.

The literature describes MOTS-c in studies of AMPK signaling, glucose uptake, and mitochondrial-nuclear communication in cultured cells and animal models. Findings are preclinical and not applicable to human use claims.
